Shatta Wale further asked his “Shatta movement” fanbase to “clap for him” (Sammy Flex).

In a current interview, Sammy Flex refuted the idea that overseeing Shatta Wale can be an enormous undertaking. If one really gets to know him, he says, it is not as hard as it might seem.

“Managing Shatta Wale is not that difficult if you understand him. It depends on the individual handling him, you just have to understand him and support his ideas. His private life is not my business and if there is mutual respect, you can work with him for a very long time,” he said.

Understanding Shatta Wale will make managing him easier – Sammy Flex

Managing Shatta Wale, one of Ghana’s most captivating and controversial musicians, is not as difficult as it may seem if one truly understands him, according to multiple award-winning Ghanaian broadcaster and manager Samuel Atuobi Baah, also known as Sammy Flex.

The popular Ghanaian Dancehall artist’s manager, Flex, refuted claims that managing the “Melissa” hitmaker is challenging in an interview with Graphic Showbiz.

Some believe it would be challenging to manage Shatta Wale because of the way he handled conflicts with his previous managers, Bulldog and Mr. Logic. Sammy Flex, however, dispelled these notions, stating that when the crooner is understood, he is not difficult to work with.

If you understand Shatta Wale, managing him is not that hard. It is up to the person managing him; all you need to do is comprehend him and give him the benefit of the doubt. If there is mutual respect, you can work with him for a very long time. His private life is not my business.

It is impossible to dictate to someone like Shatta Wale what actions to take or refrain from taking. He knows what strategies work for him and how to play the game. All I have to do is encourage him to pursue his dreams and offer advice on anything he wants to do. We get along well; I have known him for a long time, even before I started working with him,” he remarked.

The prolific broadcaster responded, “I just hope and pray that it does not come to that,” when asked how he would feel if the singer ever treated him like Bullgod and Mr. Logic, his two former managers. I am the calm kind that can deal with a person like Shatta Wale. Nothing like that happened when he was managed by Chris Koney, Nana Dope, Willy Wale, or Kofi Boat.

“I think they had problems, but none of what has been happening has happened because of the respect they had for one another. He continued, “I think there will always be fireworks because Shatta Wale is an extrovert, and his former managers Bullgod and Mr. Logic are also extroverts.

Widely recognised as Sammy Flex, the popular host of Class Showbiz, claims he has a strictly professional relationship with Shatta Wale and has no business interfering in his personal disputes because they are matters of private life.

Sammy Flex clarified in a conversation with Graphic Showbiz that, in contrast to popular belief, Shatta Wale interacts with his fans on social media instead of using them to settle scores.

“He occasionally uses Facebook Live to interact with his fans, but the majority of the things he says are unintentional. Regarding his altercations with other individuals, that is not my concern. He said, “I respect that he has a personal life to live.

Being the manager of one of Ghana’s most well-known artists, according to Sammy Flex, has opened up a lot of doors and allowed him to visit places beyond his previous reach. (Read Sista Afia’s story, “Broken heart landed me in a psychiatric hospital.”)

“Being associated with Shatta Wale, a well-known brand, has given me additional opportunities.” Being Shatta’s manager allows me to go to certain places,” he remarked.

Sammy Flex stated he did not think it was a good idea for managers and artists to share secrets when asked about it by Graphic Showbiz.

“He has his life to live and I have mine to live. I do not think it makes sense to add personal matters to the already heavy workload. We both understand that our relationship is solely professional.

“He respects my decisions and pays attention to what I have to say. For example, when we decided to call off his stadium show, we discussed it for several hours until we both agreed that it should not go through,” he revealed.

Sammy Flex prays for young musicians; advise them to be smart in making decisions

Ghanaian prolific and seasoned journalist, Samuel Atuobi Baah well known in the entertainment industry as Sammy Flex has an important advice to Ghanaian musicians especially the young one.

Many of these young acts land on rough grounds due some choices and decisions they make. Artistes must be capable of analyzing critical issues and make the right decisions out of. The journey to stardom turns frustrating leaving these young talents confused and desperate to be in the limelight.

    The artiste manager (Manager of Africa Dancehall King, Shatta Wale), using his X formerly twitter, he wrote;

“It’s my prayer for all young musicians and at large every musician in Ghana to get their due before their expiry date. Don’t do things to impress others and cry in future. Social media will just give you shouts for maximum three days and that will be all. Be smart with your decisions and don’t be moved by the hype. It kills slowly. This is the word of God”.

Although, social media play vital roles in the lives of celebrities, many are being swayed by the praises and fame instead of focusing on the commercial side of their crafts.

He advised musicians not to live their lives just to impress people but secure all the avenues within their prime, thus they should make good investments that will yield positive results in their future lives.
