“Global Citizen Experience” is coming to Accra this year, according to Move Afrika
An announcement on the official Global Citizen social media pages state that the Global Citizen Festival will make a comeback to Accra, Ghana this year, 2024.
Move Afrika will be brought to Ghana in 2024 by the festival in association with President Nana Akufo Addo and partners Pg Lang.
This year’s Move Afrika: A Global Citizen Experience tour includes Accra in its list of host cities, alongside Kigali, Rwanda.
The return to Accra and the collaboration with important stakeholders for this cultural celebration are greeted with excitement in the post.
American rapper Kendrick Lamar performed at the 2023 Global Citizen Festival in Kigali, Rwanda, along with local musicians. As the world eagerly awaits another event that combines music and activism to drive positive change, anticipation for the upcoming festival in Accra, Ghana, grows.
