Celebrated Ghanaian veteran record producer, Edward Nana Poku Osei who is also known as Hammer of the Last Two has revealed a revelation about young highlife and hip hop rapper Black Sherif.

JHus born Momodou Lamin Jallow, a British rapper and singer will no longer be performing at Africa’s biggest festival and event “Afrofuture this year due to unforseen circumstances according to the organizers.
JHus was billed to headline together Nigerian Afrobeats singer Davido and Ghanaian Highlife and hip hop act Black Sherif at this year’s festival scheduled to occur on 28th and 29th December in Accra Ghana.
The festival aims at celebrating Africa’s diverse culture and talents. This year’s Afrofuture promises an unforgettable experience in Detty December with extra amazing and top-notch performances from various selected world’s talents, promoting the Africa beautiful arts and culture through music.

Multiple award winning South African Afro-pop singer and songwriter Bulelwa Zahara known by stage name Zahara is reportedly dead.
According to reports, he “Loliwe” hitmaker died on Monday 11 December, 2023 after battling with liver complications for some time.
She was signed under the record label “TS Records”, Mkutukana’s debut album winning double platinum. She died at age 36.

“When I got home, I looked like a pastor who had received an offering in church. When I opened the swabs of money, I saw Euros, Dollars, and Cedis. Charley God bless Obour,” she added.

Award-winning Ghanaian rapper, Edem, has shared a statement following reports that he has been granted GH₵50,000 bail after being charged with knocking down a woman leading to her death.
In the statement shared on his Instagram page, the rapper shared his side of the story, explaining how the “near fatal accident” happened, leading to the death of the unknown woman.
“Musician Edem Goget’em escaped what is described by the MTTD division of the Tesano Police Service as near Fatal accident,” the statement reads.
“On Sunday, 10th December, the musician after his appearance on United Television had an accident on the George Walker Bush Highway, where a “naked” woman crossed his path out of nowhere. Edem’s car turned upside down after the impact but the artiste is very fine,” the statement added.
The rapper also assured his fans and Ghanaians that he is assisting the police in the investigation.
“Edem is currently complying with the police service for due process as the case is still under investigation. Edem has assured his availability to assist investigations when need be. Edem assures all his fans that he is safe, fully active and kicking,” the statement concluded.
According to reports by Citinewsroom, Edem had struck the woman while driving through the George Walker Bush Highway from Abeka to Spintex Road around 2 a.m. last Saturday.
Although he is said to have been in the centre lane, he knocked the victim down a little distance from the Dimples roundabout.
The woman, believed to be in her 40s was reportedly pronounced dead on arrival at the Police Hospital in Accra.
Edem was charged with two counts of careless and inconsiderate driving and negligently causing harm.
Ghanaian musician Edem Goget’em was on Sunday, December 10, 2023, involved in a motor accident.
According to a press statement signed by this management, the incident happened after the musician’s appearance on United Television.
His management says the accident occurred on the George Walker Bush Highway, “where a ‘naked’ woman crossed his path out of nowhere.”

The ‘We Don’t Really Care’ hitmaker was charged with two counts of careless and inconsiderate driving and negligently causing harm.
Edem who was granted bail in the sum of GH¢50,000 with two sureties, will re-appear in court on February 15, 2024.
