    AFCON 2023: Stonebwoy makes predictions about the Black Stars

    African Cup of Nations (AFCON) champion in 2023, Stonebwoy, an award-winning reggae and dancehall artist, has issued a challenge to Ghana’s Black Stars.

    Before the team left on Wednesday, he said these things at the farewell dinner that President Akufo-Addo had arranged in Kumasi.

    The hitmaker of “Overlord” vowed to help the team and encouraged them to play well in hopes of winning the African Cup.

    “We wholeheartedly support them in every way. Yes, it will surprise everyone in the world and throughout Africa, but I have a lot of faith in my brothers and the technical team, so they should go out there and do us good and possibly win the African Cup for us in this tournament,” he remarked.

    “Dede Ayew, who we met in Qatar, is a brother.” He continued, “God knows how happy I am to be here with the players, the President, and everyone else.

    On Sunday, January 14, 2024, Ghana, who is in Group B, will play Cape Verde in the first game of the group stage.

    The Black Stars arrived in Ivory Coast on Wednesday afternoon, where they held their first practice before playing their first game at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium in Abidjan on January 14, 2024. Four days later, they will play Egypt at the same stadium, and on January 22, 2024, they will play Mozambique at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium.

    In a resounding display of love and appreciation, famed Ghanaian Reggae and Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale has congratulated Stonebwoy following the triumph of his Bhim Concert at the iconic Accra Sports Stadium.

    History was made on Friday, December 22, 2023, as the iconic Afro-Reggae/Dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy staged his monumental Bhim Concert.

    The 40,000-capacity stadium overflowed with tumultuous fans. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and a noticeable energy coursed through the fans in the stands.

    For over 10 hours, the Accra Sports Stadium became a sacred space for Bhim Nation. Artists like Epixode, Larusso, Ras Kuuku, Kofi Kinaata, and Sefa took turns igniting the crowd with their diverse talents, each act adding a unique flavour to the musical gumbo.

    Following the success of the concert, Shatta Wale, who also held his concert at the same venue last year, has taken to social media to commend Stonebwoy’s achievement, advising his fans to learn to appreciate the effort of others.

    Shatta’s comment comes after his fans and some netizens criticized and compared Stonebwoy’s concert to that of Shatta’s Freedom Wave which was also held at the stadium last year.

    The ‘Melissa’ hitmaker in a Facebook post sighted by Ameyaw Debrah Media said “Let’s us all learn to appreciate ourselves for once and move on. To say congrats to a fellow brother or sister won’t spoil anything. I am too focused now to deal in who did it first or last.”

    “If we can change our attitude of how we support each other in this music business everyone will be happy. Yes Shatta wale did it And Stonebwoy has done it too.That should be the glory and not gory,” he added.

    He continued, “Shatta movement I came here to teach love and not hate ..My ways to repair might be harsh but trust me that is the only way Ghana music will learn and bounce back into the realities of life !! Shatta movement says congrats to the #BHIMPRESIDENT and let him also enjoy his moment in peace ”

    Renowned Ghanaian entertainment pundit and artiste manager, Lawrence Asiamah Hanson, professionally known as Bulldog, has taken to social media to celebrate and heap praises on Reggae and Dancehall artiste Stonebwoy, ahead of his much anticipated Bhim Concert.

    According to the former manager of Shatta Wale, anyone who misses the Bhim Concert which comes off  today, December 22, 2023, at the Accra Sports Stadium is missing out on history as the show is set to be a memorable one looking at the lineup of acts to perform.

    The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of BullHaus Entertainment in a Facebook post  proclaimed that Stonebwoy is more than just an artiste but an  institution, emphasizing the impact and significance the ‘Sobolo’ hitmaker had attained in the industry.

    The show  features a star-studded lineup comprising D-Black, Edem, Efya, KiDi, Kuami Eugene, Empress Gifty, Nacee, Kwaw Kese, and Scott Evans, among others. From Jamaica are Jahmiel and 10tik

    The concert will also mark the grand finale of the 5th Dimension World Tour, a combination of his annual Bhim Concert and Ashaiman to the World which was not held this year.
