PanAfrica-Ghana Announces Leadership Reshuffle, Ends Tenure of Board Chairman

In a significant leadership shake-up, PanAfrica-Ghana (PAG) has announced the end of tenure for its Board Chairman, Hon. Hadji Mustaphar Issahk (Nana Amoah Kwadwo II). The decision, effective Monday, August 18, 2025, was officially communicated by the organisation’s Founding President, Ras Caleb Appiah-Levi.

According to Ras Caleb, the leadership change follows extensive consultations with the Executive Board and forms part of a strategic effort to reposition the organisation for long-term growth and improved governance.

“We appreciate the contributions of Hon. Issahk during his tenure as Board Chairman,” said Ras Caleb. “This restructuring is a necessary step as PAG evolves into a new phase, focused on achieving its mission and strengthening its institutional capacity.”

In the interim, the Executive Board will oversee the transition process, with all Board-related duties being managed directly through the office of the Founding President until a new appointment is made.

PanAfrica-Ghana reaffirmed its commitment to advancing African unity, celebrating cultural heritage, and supporting creative expression. The organisation assured members, partners, and stakeholders that its ongoing initiatives will proceed without interruption despite the leadership transition.
