Ghanaian prolific broadcast journalist Serwaa Amihere released an apology statement to her loved ones, family, and employers after an intimate video of her was leaked earlier this month.
The statement came after a video of Serwaa Amihere in bed with Henry Fitz was sensationalised on social media a few days earlier.
In a statement spotted by KobbyJosvan.com, the journalist expressed her sincere regret to her loved ones, family, and business associates.
Asserting that the video has embarrassed her employers, businesses, and brands she represents, the young journalist said that it has been frustrating for everyone who has supported and inspired her throughout her career.
Serwaa apologised for any hurt the video may have caused to her loved ones, family, employers, and the brands she represents. She also expressed her belief that the video undervalued Serwaa’s influence, potential, and future.
“At the time, 5 years ago, I considerably underestimated the extent of my influence, my potentials, what I would become, and what I would come to represent to this society.
“Sincerely, I say sorry for the embarrassment, disappointment, and frustration which this matter has caused to my family and loved ones, to the distinguished businesses and brands I represent, and to you,” she noted.
The television personality revealed that she was compelled to acquire extremely valuable lessons for the future due to the video leak and the damage it caused.
