After months of battling serious health issues at medical facilities, renowned Nollywood icon John Okafor, better known by his stage name Mr. Ibu, has returned home.
Last year, the entertainment industry and Mr. Ibu’s horde of devoted fans were rocked by the news of his hospitalisation, which raised serious concerns for his health. Due to a medical condition that kept him out of the public eye for a while, he was both admitted and moved between hospitals.
Nonetheless, his fans and the Nollywood community as a whole are extremely relieved that his colleague in the film industry, Ken Erics, recently announced that he was returning home.
Ken shared a video of his visit with the legendary actor and quickly won over many hearts. Sunday, January 21, 2024, he uploaded a video to his official Instagram page in which he expressed his respect for Mr. Ibu.
The video’s goal, according to Ken’s description, is to make the actor’s admirers and fans smile.
“Happy Sunday lovelies. Something to brighten your day @realmribu”, he captioned.
Many expressed their gratitude to the light-skinned actor for visiting him in his comment section, flooding it with sympathetic words.
Fans flooded social media during Mr. Ibu’s hospital stay with well-wishes and messages of support for the cherished actor.
