Actress Martha Ankomah of Ghana has stated that legal proceedings concerning her lawsuit against colleague Kwadwo Nkansah, also referred to as Lilwin, are still pending.

The actress has stated that she does not intend to rescind the lawsuit because she wants the legal system to work its course.

“I have not withdrawn the suit, I believe the rule of law works in this country.

Thus, I do not think you can offend someone and get away with it. We must set a good example for others to follow if we claim to be role models. I therefore filed a lawsuit. I hope you understand that building a brand takes years, as she said in an interview with UTV, based in Accra.

Miss Ankomah sued Lilwin on February 14, 2024, alleging that he had made derogatory comments about her professionalism and integrity.

The actress sued in an Accra High Court, requesting an apology, GH¢5 million in damages, and the removal of the extremely offensive words in question.

Martha has expressed hope that the court will take the appropriate action in this case in the interim.

“If the court does not teach him a lesson, it will be a very bad example that may encourage the next generation to just say anything about people,” the actress went on.
