Actor Don Little, from Ghana, has spoken out about the tragic accident that happened to his colleague LilWin. He emphasises that the accident was not intentional and should not have legal ramifications.
Don Little expressed his discontent with the way LilWin’s management team handled the public’s and the bereaved family’s understandable frustration with the way information about the incident was communicated.
He made a sincere request for forgiveness from both sides and pushed for a peaceful settlement, stressing that the accident was not deliberate.
“It was not my brother’s aim to cause an accident. Therefore, on behalf of LilWin, I am appealing to Ghanaians and the family of the 3-year-old boy who passed away to forgive, even though it is painful.
“The person who initially spoke about the incident did not handle it well, causing further upset. Hence, we are seeking forgiveness,” he said in a video shared by One Ghana TV on YouTube.
After being released from the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, LilWin was arrested by police on Monday, June 3, 2024. The case has been postponed until June 27, 2024, and GH¢50,000 bail has been granted.
