Adwoa Safo loses to Mike Oquaye Jr. for the Dome-Kwabenya seat
In the parliamentary primaries of the New Patriotic Party, Mike Oquaye Jr. defeated Adwoa Safo to win the Dome-Kwabenya parliamentary seat.

Defeated decisively in the New Patriotic Party parliamentary primaries against Mike Oquaye Jr., the CEO of the Free Zones Authority, was Adwoa Safo. With more than 1194 votes, Oquaye Junior defeated Adwoa Safo, who only received 328 votes.
In the fiercely contested contest, Sheela Oppong Sakyi, the third contender, received just about 100 votes, good for a distant third place.
