Amaechi Muonagor, a well-known actor from Nigeria, died at the age of 62.
Morris Monye, a renowned social media analyst, confirmed the news of Muonagor’s death. On Sunday, Monye shared his profound grief over the passing of the veteran actor on his official social media accounts.
“Deeply heartbroken by the news of Amaechi Muonagor’s passing. He was a talented Nollywood actor whose presence on our screens was truly masterful,”
“We watched with concern as he battled health issues, offering whatever support we could to help him seek treatment in India. This tragic loss highlights the need for better healthcare in our country.” Monye shared in his post.
Muonagor’s death occurred not too long after his colleague actor Mr. Ibu (John Okafor) passed away on March 2, 2024.
Many are surprised by Muonagor’s abrupt passing, particularly in light of his recent viral video in which he begged for money to get a kidney transplant.
Amaechi Muonagor was a skilled producer in addition to an actor. His exceptional work in 2016 brought him a nomination for the AMVCA 2017 Best Actor in a Comedy category, demonstrating his skill and adaptability in the entertainment business.
