    Second Lady Samira Bawumia’s bodyguard, Mumuni Fuseini, tragically lost his life on Saturday during a convoy vehicle accident while they were returning from Bonwire in the Ashanti Region.

    In accordance with Islamic tradition, Mumuni Fuseini was buried on Sunday, January 14.

    Conveying his condolences via Facebook, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia wrote, “Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilayhi Rajioon.” I must inform you with great sadness of Mumuni Fuseini’s passing. She was a staff member in my office.”

    Mumuni Fuseini was buried in accordance with Islamic customs, with friends, family, and coworkers gathering to say goodbye to him.

    “He passed away yesterday due to an accident involving a car in Hajia Samira’s convoy, the Second Lady. As a dedicated member of the Closed Protection Unit, Fuseini worked hard.

    Sad News: Samira Bawumia involved in a fatal accident, one dead (Photos + Video)

    Samira Bawumia was involved in a deadly collision that claimed one life.

    According to reports, a car accident occurred at Ohene-Nkwanta near Nobewam, off the Kumasi-Accra highway, involving the Second Lady Samira Bawumia’s convoy.

    Sadly, one of her bodyguards who was riding in the convoy has passed away.

    The tragic incident that occurred earlier today left the country in anguish and suffering.

    While the body of the deceased bodyguard is being placed at the mortuary, the second lady and the other injured victims are being treated at a nearby hospital.

    Fuseini, the Second Lady’s late bodyguard He is a graduate of Accra Academy from the 1996 class. He began working for the Veep family in 2008.
