Ghanaian comic actor and rapper AY Poyoo has expressed worry over reports that, following their breakup, his former label deleted all of his music from internet platforms.
The young rapper revealed to his fans, “My fans will notice over one year now, all my songs have been deleted from the online stores and that has really affected me,” in a video posted on sighted by KobbyJosvan.com on social media.
Poyoo expressed his displeasure with his former label’s action after witnessing the act. He bemoaned the financial consequences even more, saying “Imagine I’m earning $2,000 a month or $3,000 and all of a sudden you’re not earning anything because they’ve deleted your songs from online.”
Poyoo declared that he is prepared to divide a percentage with the label and emphasised the value of treating people fairly in the music business.
“If there is an issue, Poyoo you are going so we have to share percentage even if you’re gone, I have percentage in the songs you have taken because we worked together.” he reveals.
