Ghanaian hip-hop artist Lukeman Ekow Baidoo popularly known as Teephlow has responded to rumours about his musical career, particularly those concerning his time spent living in the United States.

Teephlow, who has been living in the US, clarified his areas of interest in response to claims made by fellow Ghanaians that he was no longer relevant.

He emphasised the value of financial stability in a video address, saying that his goal abroad is to amass wealth rather than seek fame in Ghana.

“I haven’t fell of, I would rather stay in U.S hustle and make money than to remain in Ghan and stay broke. I don’t want to grow old and people will be contributing funds for me. I won’t fall victim to that.,” Teephlow stated.

Teephlow pointed out the disadvantages of being well-known but struggling financially, emphasising the importance of money over fame.

He told other artists that he did not want to sacrifice long-term financial stability for temporary fame, hoping to avoid relying on the public for support in his later years.
