Nigerian singer Simi has revealed that, in contrast to her marriage to Adekunle Gold, she never imagined getting married to another musician.
In an interview for the podcast “Tea With Tay,” the singer revealed this realisation while narrating the unusual tale of how she met her future husband.
Simi clarified that Adekunle Gold was not a musician at the time she first met him; rather, he was a graphic designer.
At first, she thought he was just a fan waiting to friend her on Facebook.
“I had already declared that I could not marry a singer, so I was unaware of my husband’s singing career when we first met. I mistook him for a fan.
Simi revealed that “that time, he used to do this King of Photoshop” thing.
