Dancehall musician Kaakie, who ended her contract with High-Grade family in 2018 and took a break to study in the USA, has announced her comeback to the music industry.
She revealed, “Actually, I came in purposely,” in an open interview with Accra, Ghana-based 3FM. I am returning to the scene by God’s grace, and we are putting in a lot of effort.
“I have not just been silent,” Kaakie said in acknowledgment of the substantial support she has received. I have been working behind the scenes and I haven’t been alone. I’ve had genuine support from my husband; he’s been pushing me, and I’ve also met people that were in the scene.”
Kaakie is ready to make a significant return and take back her place in the music business with perseverance, her husband’s support, and her connections in the business.
