Ghana’s Amputee team wins AAFCON 2024 in Egypt

Black Challenge, Ghana’s national amputee football team, has won the African Amputee Football Cup of Nations (AAFCON) competition for 2024.

The team defeated Morocco 2-1 in the Monday night finals to win the championship.
Following their 2021 victory, Ghana has now won the Amputee AAFCON twice in a row.

Congratulations for making Ghana proud

The Ghana Black Challenge won the first African Para Games Football in 2023.

They will compete for Africa in the 2026 Amputee World Cup.

Also, Freshwan, a reggae-dancehall artist from Ghana, joined the group in support of his nation. According to him, the Black Challenge is not receiving enough national support in spite of their unceasing efforts to use sports to showcase Ghana.
