Don Little, the stage name of Ghanaian actor Stephen Atangah, has shared a nightclub incident from his foreign travels that almost resulted in his arrest.

Don Little talked about the exciting night out with friends abroad in an interview with Giovanni Caleb on TV3’s Showbiz360.

Don Little went to a nightclub with his friends in the hopes of enjoying a fun-filled, laid-back evening. But because of Don Little’s diminutive size, the security guard at the entrance stopped them, thinking he was a child.

“I was eager for a night of fun and relaxation. My friends suggested various nightclubs, so we decided to give it a try… They advised me to bring my passport, but I assumed the process would be similar to Ghana,” he explained.

The security guard questioned him, asking, “Hey little boy, where is your mom?” Despite his friends’ attempts to vouch for him, the guard remained skeptical, insisting that Don Little was underage.

Don Little confronted the guard because he felt insulted and frustrated, but the guard threatened to call the police if they did not leave the premise .

Don Little and his friends made the decision to head back home for the night out of fear of things getting worse and possibly getting into legal trouble.

“I questioned if he recognized my stature back home, but he ignored me, nearly causing an uproar.

He threatened to call the police and have me arrested. We therefore made the decision to return and end the evening,” he remarked.

Don Little recently talked about how his height has affected and will continue to affect a number of his life’s opportunities.

Despite having the required credentials, he voiced worries that his height would make it difficult for employers to consider him for employment.

He has faced many difficulties as a result of this height discrimination, both personally and professionally.
