  • “I charge $250,000 for a verse” – American rapper Meek Mill

“I charge $250,000 for a verse” – American rapper Meek Mill

According to American rapper (born Robert Rihmeek Williams) known professionally as Meek Mill, he will drop his verse pricing to $150,000 under the right circumstances. He currently charges $250,000 for a verse.

“Every time I do a verse I charge 250k and up if you got 150k on sight and I like the song we can swap it outtt!!!!” Meek Mill shared on X.

Meek’s price appears to be comparable to that of his peers, per a 2022 Complex roundup showcasing the rates that rappers demand for a feature. In contrast to J. Cole, who denied receiving $2,000 per word last year and stated he does not charge for a verse, the Philadelphia native clearly demands a lot more money.

“Yo, bro, it’s just a bar, bro,” Cole said on Lil Yachty and Mitch’s A Safe Place podcast. “Like, a lot of my bars be really on point but that’s just a flex. I’m not gonna charge a na $2,000 a word. I don’t even charge na for the verse, I’m doing this shit because I’m inspired to do it.”

He continued, “I’m not charging n***as because, you know, I want to be on the song. I wouldn’t do that.”

Meek Mill continued to clarify on Wednesday that his contribution and value extend beyond the song’s position in the charts. An artist receives the chance to reach a wider audience in addition to a verse, which includes his tens of millions of followers.

The rapper wrote, “I offer data and fanbase opportunities along with mass marketing. I have 50 million followers with real engagement. Some of these artists need other platforms to get their point across.”

With all that dough, what is Meek Mill doing? It appears that he wants to add 15 acres in south New Jersey to his real estate holdings; most significantly, there are no wetlands on the property.

“Looking for 15 Acres in south nj no wetlands tho help me out,” Meek sent out to fans on Wednesday. Real estate bros it’s your time to shine.

According to the BB Naija TV star, you have no business remaining faithful to a man you are not married to.

According to Natacha Anita Akide, better known by her stage name Tacha, the Big Brother Naija reality TV star, it is inappropriate for women to stay faithful to men they are not married to.

Speaking on the most recent episode of the Spill With Phyna podcast, Tacha advised women to put off thinking about fidelity until they are engaged or married, as there is no legally binding vow that requires faithfulness in a partnership.

She brashly declared that until a woman is legally married, she should be regarded as single and emphasised the necessity of a concrete commitment—a marriage or a ring—before making a faithful vow.

“You must be in a relationship and not commit to one another until you most likely receive a ring or get married, at which point you must take an oath. Which oath did you take to prove your faithfulness in a relationship? Tacha made the statement during the podcast, “You are single until you are married.”
