Shatta Wale bursts into tears, kneels to apologize to Mahama – Dr. Lawrence Tetteh
Worldwide Miracle Outreach founder Dr. Lawrence Tetteh has shared the amazing story of a plane encounter between dancehall king Shatta Wale and former president John Mahama.
Dr. Lawrence Tetteh revealed over the weekend that he boarded a flight for London with Ghanaian dancehall musician and National Democratic Congress flag bearer Shatta Wale, and that an intriguing thing happened in the aircraft.
The prophet disclosed that Shatta Wale approached him while he was seated, requesting help with a crucial task that led to their meeting and an apology to the former president for remarks he had made in the past that had been taken out of context.
Shatta Wale apologises to Mahama while on his knees and sobbing.
“Shatta Wale came to me and said ‘my father, I want you to do me a favour. I threw certain words at former President Mahama and I feel very guilty to go to him.’ I held his hand and I marched him there. It was on the plane, publicly and I have videos of it I will share”.
Dr. Tetteh, expressing his confusion, claimed that Shatta Wale broke down in tears and got down on his knees when he was led to Mahama’s seat.
He disclosed that Shatta expressed his sincere regret to the former President for making fun of him during one of his uncalled-for outbursts a couple of years preceded.
Shatta’s impoliteness broke their bond when he spoke to the crowd during Mr. Mahama’s campaign tour.
However, he told him to act appropriately because he was an example to follow.
According to Dr. Tetteh, Shatta demonstrated humility, acknowledged his mistakes, and vowed not to repeat his behaviour.
