Doctor Mahamudu Bawumia, the vice president of Ghana and the leader of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), paid a visit to the actor John Bredu Peasah, better known as Drogba, who is currently fighting a rare nerve disorder called demyelination.
For the past 2.5 years, Drogba, who rose to fame as a result of his role in the TV series Yolo, has been receiving treatment.
Following Drogba’s announcement of his diagnosis on Friday, his sister Hannah Mensah confirmed this on Monday.
Drogba has been appealing with the public for financial support to pay for his escalating medical bills ever since he revealed his health condition.
In the wake of his plea, the Vice President has visited him. In a video sighted by Kobbyjosvan.com, Dr. Bawumia is seen in Drogba’s living room with his aides.
