Ghanaian Prince Berimah Kumi Ansong, better known by his stage name MC BERIMAH, was raised in Taifa, an Accra suburb, and was born on August 9. After completing his junior and secondary education, he continued his journalism studies at Abro Media, which is now DOXA University.
Due to his love of the media and entertainment, he started working as a co-host on SammyFlex TV, CTV and Supreme Africa Radio. He also made his MC debut with KR18 Concepts, serving as the master of ceremonies for the Westside Concert show, which drew over 10,000 people to the WESTHILLS MALL parking lot.
With years of experience rocking and mounting stages, MC BERIMAH is one of the best MCs and event organisers in Ghana and beyond.
In 2023, he took home the Best International MC and Social Commentator titles at the inaugural Ghana UAE Awards, held in Dubai.
Mc Berimah is renowned for his vivacity, stage presence, skill, and microphone mastery. He has collaborated with the majority of well-known figures in Ghanaian show business.
He served as the associate master of ceremonies for the Africa Dancehall King Shatta Wale’s record-breaking 360 stadium shutdown in 2022, the Ghana UAE Awards (DUBAI), the Party on a Yacht (DUBAI), the largest show in the central region, SHATTA WALE HOME COMING 2023, and STARS AT THE VILLA, which included Wendy Shay and Larruso, all in Kasoa; Wendy Shay’s SHAY concert (WESTHILLS MALL); the comedy show Too cute to be MUTE (AMA Auditorium) and Kumasi (RATTRAY PARK); Journey to the South comedy show Journey to the South (National Theatre); Fotocopy’s Kasoa to the World Concert; and many other events.
